MTV INDONESIA VJ HUNT 2005 SPEC-OFF AIR CAMPAIGN DESIGN ( 2 )


The Finalist flyers and pamphlets were printed in 8 versions, as part of MTV VJ Hunt 2005 promotional campaign. While keeping the basic design lay-out for unity, each flyers and pamphlet was printed in different colors, matching with the characteristic and personality each finalist has.

The flyers were distributed on the event location during the D-day. Each finalist has their own flyers with different colors that represent their different characters. Other than giveaways / merchandise, this flyers were given to the establish the image of each finalist to the viewers, in more tangible look. Each flyer tells more about the finalist through brief profile and background story attached on the backside of the flyer, focusing on the 'reasons' why viewers should vote for them. It's also a last effort to strengthen and validate the relationship which had been formed between viewers and the finalists through the whole campaign.

The Pamphlets were distributed weeks before the event, they were also used as a teaser. This is the first print-ad campaign that shows each finalists profile. Even at this point, viewers haven't given the chance to see full face profiles of the finalists ( The teaser Pamphlets only revealed half-part of finalist faces ). This was to catch people's interest and poke their curiousity. The sort of 'hypnotic and penetrating' look they have on the pamphlets was intended to give impact to the viewers through the eye contact. And at the same time giving subtle impression of competitiveness and strong ambition to be the next MTV VJ
